In my journey towards finding the best GF foods, these 7 amazing gluten free boxed dessert mixes have become pantry staples. Being gluten free has its pros and cons. I’ve noticed dramatic differences in my health and how I feel since going gluten free, but sometimes I do miss delicacies like garlic bread, pasta, and boxed dessert mixes. So I’ve made it a personal challenge to maintain my GF status while also enjoying these carbohydrate dense comfort foods. Because what is life if you can’t enjoy carbs?
Not all GF foods are created equally. Sometimes GF versions of typically gluten-filled foods just don’t taste very good. And I’m not willing to settle for muffins and cookies and cakes that don’t taste good. These gluten free boxed dessert mixes don’t sacrifice taste or quality, which is why I love and recommend them so much.
These desserts pair beautifully with coffee or tea…or wine…

1. Krusteaz Gluten Free Blueberry Muffin Mix
Can you ever go wrong with blueberry muffin mix? These are fabulous. Krusteaz is one of my favorite GF brands.
2. Glutino Fudge Brownie Mix
I make these brownies all of the time for friends and family, and no one ever knows they’re GF. When you can get away with that you know you’re winning.
While they are currently unavailable on Amazon, they can be found in most chain grocery stores.
3. Krusteaz Cinnamon Swirl Coffee Cake
For our recent wedding anniversary my mom sent us 8 boxes of this mix… and we’re already down to 5… so yummy.
Amazon only sells the pack of 8, but believe me you will go through it.
4. Meli’s Original Monster Cookies
These cookies are perfect when you’re craving some sort of peanut buttery crunchy chocolatey treat.
Check the natural foods section of your local grocery store, you can most likely find them cheaper.
5. Simple Mills Pumpkin Muffin & Bread Mix
This muffin mix is fabulous on its own and as a base for other flavors. Add blueberries, pecans, chocolate chips, the possibilities are endless!
6. King Arthur Fudge Brownie Mix
So fudgy and so. good. This mix is also only sold on Amazon in a pack of 6, but again you will surely go through it.
7. Simple Mills Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix
Not only are these cookies GF, they are grain free and made from almond flour. I don’t always like baked goods made from almond flour, but these cookies are delicious.
On a slightly different note, for some equally delicious GF snacks check out this list.
